Who we are

Briar’s Place is best known for its foster cottage located in southwest Missouri, where dozens of dogs have experienced the rehabilitation work of Dani, Stephen, and their crew of helper dogs. Briar’s Place is more than just a spot on the map, though. With this website, Dani wants to share her knowledge to help humans coexist with dogs a little more safely and a little more peacefully.

Here, you’ll find long-form blog posts about current and former foster dogs, self-paced courses on a variety of different dog behavior topics, and maybe even some merch featuring your favorite Briar’s Place characters. We hope this will be a place to grow, a place to learn, and a place to laugh.
